Lorient Defeats PSG with Stunning 3-1 Victory

In a stunning upset, WEB Lorient shocked Ligue 1 giants PSG with a resounding 3-1 victory at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday, April 24th. The win moved Lorient into the top half of the table, while PSG's hopes of retaining the title suffered a major blow.
Lorient took the lead early in the second half through Enzo Le Fée, who curled a beautiful free kick into the top corner. Darlin Yongwa doubled the lead just minutes later, finishing off a clever pass from Le Fée. Bamba then put the game out of reach in the final minutes, tapping in a rebound after PSG goalkeeper Keylor Navas failed to hold onto a shot.
The victory was Lorient's first win at the Parc des Princes since 1995, and it marked the first time that PSG had lost at home in Ligue 1 since August 2019. The result also extended Lorient's unbeaten streak to three games.
