Los Angeles, CA - SpaceX, a leading space exploration company, successfully launched 22 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit on Monday night. The launch, which was visible from parts of Southern California, created a spectacular fireball in the sky.
The Falcon 9 rocket carrying the satellites lifted off from Vandenberg Space Force Base at 10:29 p.m. PST. The launch created a bright, orange streak that could be seen across the region. SpaceX confirmed that all 22 satellites were successfully deployed into orbit.
